Motorhomes

Motorhomes are kind of like a cross between a car and a caravan. These vehicles are basically designed to offer caravan like living space with a driving cab at the front. So, here you will travel with one vehicle instead of two.

There are various advantages to using a motorhome rather than a standard car and caravan. They are, for example:

Easier to drive as you don't have to get used to driving a car with a caravan attached. This is a little like driving a big van.
Easier to manoeuvre and to park up.
Able to travel faster than standard cars and caravans.
Quicker to get ready when you need to set off as you don't have to worry about attaching a caravan to the car here. They are as simple to pack up and go as a car.

On the other hand motorhomes may cost more than a standard caravan and can't necessarily be used for everyday use so they won't generally replace your car on a day to day basis.

There are various types of motorhome to choose from nowadays. Some people, for example, will buy large American style vehicles, some will convert vans for motorhome use whilst others will opt for smaller vans. Issues here include how many people will use the motorhome and how much space you have to store it when it is not in use.
